Junior Partnership Manager - Heat Pump Operations

Role Overview

As a Junior Partnership Manager focusing on heat pumps, you will play a critical role supporting and expanding Octopus Energy's successful partner network. You will act as the vital link between the EnerTech startup and tradespeople, guiding new partners through onboarding, refining processes, and learning how to actively manage a strong B2B network in the renewable sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and recruit motivated trades and heating partners to expand the network.
• Guide new partner companies through onboarding, including training on digital tools and quality standards.
• Continuously improve and maintain onboarding documents and training content by contributing your ideas.
• Develop and sustain authentic working relationships as the primary day-to-day contact for partners.
• Monitor partner performance, troubleshoot challenges collaboratively, and take proactive corrective action.

Candidate Profile

• Completed studies in business administration, industrial engineering, or a commercial apprenticeship with initial experience in Junior Business Development, Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B sales.
• Technical knowledge is helpful but sector-specific expertise in heating or HVAC fields is not required; motivated career changers are welcome.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to quickly build B2B relationships, combined with tact and assertiveness to manage network performance effectively.
• Structured, independent, and solution-driven working style able to stay organized in a dynamic environment, eager to help shape processes in a leading EnerTech company.
