About The Role

This is a hands-on, production-oriented position within our South Geelong, VIC distribution center, reporting to the Store Development Project Manager. In this role, precision and efficiency are paramount. We offer flexibility regarding full-time or part-time hours, with a primary focus on the quality of your craftsmanship.

A Day in the Life

Your daily responsibilities as a Joiner/Cabinet Maker will encompass:

  • Producing and assembling custom cabinetry and joinery items according to detailed specifications.
  • Analyzing project plans to generate precise cutting lists for each task.
  • Executing measurements, cuts, routing, gluing, and assembly of timber components with meticulous accuracy.
  • Safely operating workshop machinery, including CNC machines and panel saws.
  • Ensuring all joinery work is fitted, finished, and aligned perfectly.
  • Collaborating effectively with the team to meet project deadlines.

About You

We are seeking an individual who possesses:

  • Substantial experience in joinery or cabinet making.
  • A solid understanding of woodworking techniques and various materials.
  • Prior experience operating machinery such as panel saws, edge banders, and CNC machines.
  • Proficiency with both hand and power tools.
  • The ability to accurately read and interpret technical plans.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills and an eagerness to learn and contribute.
