Position Details

We are hiring a Janitor to carry out comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of assigned buildings or multiple client locations. This role requires flexibility to adapt duties according to client specifications.

Compensation and Schedule

• Part-time or Full-time employment options
• Hourly wage of $15
• Weekly payment schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Keep all floor surfaces clean through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
• Safely handle chemical cleaners and power cleaning tools to avoid damage
• Clean and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas
• Empty trash receptacles properly and operate compactors for waste disposal as needed
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with suitable products and equipment
• Perform spot cleaning of carpets and assist with carpet shampooing and extraction
• Replenish paper products and bathroom supplies regularly
• Adhere to scheduled housekeeping tasks
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning machines like floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on customer requirements or job scope

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent, or at least six months' experience in janitorial work
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles
• Knowledge of custodial protocols and commercial cleaning industry standards
• Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing
• Background in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
