IT Supervisor

Position Overview

The IT Supervisor is responsible for resolving technical issues related to computer software and systems, providing technical advice to solve business problems, and recommending process enhancements. This role involves operating computer equipment and peripherals, managing applications and user accounts, maintaining records of daily IT activities, and training users in hardware and software utilization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, modify, support, and maintain software applications and user accounts.
• Manage telecommunications operations, including client/server support and strategic planning.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve business challenges and improve processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation of data communication activities and remedial measures.
• Train users on proper hardware and software use.
• Assist management with staff hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Act as a role model and first point of contact for Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy processes.
• Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns appropriately.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, safeguarding company assets.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with others.
• Ensure quality standards are met and identify opportunities for improving organizational efficiency, productivity, safety, quality, and cost savings.
• Perform physical tasks involving objects weighing up to 10 pounds safely.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience.
• Supervisory experience is not required.
• No specific licenses or certifications required.
