Job Purpose

The IT Governance Manager is responsible for overseeing the establishment, communication, and implementation of comprehensive information governance processes, policies, and best practices across the organization. This role also manages the development and refinement of project management guidelines supporting core business services. It plays a pivotal role in supplier and knowledge management strategies aligned with global standards and contributes actively to IT environment design and transformation, fostering organizational efficiency and goal alignment. Additionally, this position governs decision-making frameworks, stakeholder relations, and ensures legitimacy in authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and uphold governance frameworks and structured policies to guide operations and decision-making.
• Ensure governance practices comply with relevant regulations and reflect industry benchmarks.
• Lead process design initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and alignment with company goals.
• Drive technology infrastructure and service transformation efforts within the IT function.
• Oversee the continuous development and enforcement of project management guidelines.
• Collaborate with project teams to uphold best project management practices.
• Identify and implement improvements in governance policies and procedures through participation in related projects.
• Facilitate knowledge management activities to promote information sharing and collaboration.
• Maintain thorough records and reports for senior leadership and compliance purposes.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including regulatory bodies, auditors, and legal experts to ensure governance alignment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Business, Law, Governance, or a related discipline at bachelor's or master's level.
• Certifications in governance or process design are a plus.
• At least a decade of professional experience in governance, process design, and organizational transformation.
• Proven success in designing governance frameworks and leading IT transformation projects.
• Strong background in supplier management, project oversight, and risk management methodologies.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Deep knowledge of applicable regulatory environments and industry standards.
