About the Company and Role

Almarai, established in 1977, is the world's largest vertically integrated dairy producer and a leading FMCG brand in the MENA region. The company operates over 20 brands including juices, baked goods, poultry, infant formula, seafood, and bottled water, supported by more than 43,000 employees across the GCC, Egypt, and Jordan. A critical part of this operation is the IT infrastructure that this role will maintain to ensure seamless internal operations within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous availability and robustness of IT infrastructure for users at all sites within the assigned area.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades on current hardware, communications, and software systems to meet evolving business demands.
• Implement new IT infrastructure and systems as required to support business expansion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, identifying and repairing defective infrastructure components.
• Install and administer servers to support ongoing infrastructure maintenance.
• Handle diverse daily IT tasks without limiting scope to a specific niche.

Candidate Profile

• Hold a bachelor's degree in IT, Business Systems, or related disciplines.
• Possess between 2 to 5 years of pertinent experience, including hands-on work with Oracle systems and client/server applications.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams from varied professional backgrounds.
• Have a collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to IT excellence throughout the region.
• Demonstrate a proactive, self-starting approach capable of managing numerous tasks under pressure while maintaining composure.
• Adopt a systematic, considerate, and cooperative working style supported by strong business judgement.
• Be knowledgeable about the ITIL framework and proficient in the software tools utilized within Almarai's IT environment.
• Have experience with Business Objects or similar reporting tools.
• Understand fundamental IT principles and best practices.
