Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy for post-purchase operations, closely collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to provide scalable and top-quality experiences to Whatnot's users.
• Analyze operational data and user interactions to extract insights that guide priority setting, roadmap planning, and initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, speed, and scalability.
• Lead multifaceted, cross-departmental projects from defining problems through to implementation while maintaining alignment, accountability, and measurable results.
• Create and deploy scalable processes, systems, and operational frameworks supporting Whatnot’s growth and adapting to evolving user needs.
• Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by delivering recommendations based on data analysis and weighing potential trade-offs to inform decisions.
• Regularly evaluate operational performance to identify areas for improved efficiency, system resilience, and user satisfaction.
• Maintain proximity to either the London or Dublin hubs for commuting purposes despite the remote work arrangement.

Candidate Profile

• 8 to 10 years of professional experience in strategy and operations fields, such as consulting, finance, general management, or operations.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement strategies that enhance scalable, high-quality operations in dynamic and uncertain settings.
• Strong analytical reasoning with the capability to integrate qualitative and quantitative data into coherent recommendations.
• Track record of successfully heading comprehensive cross-functional initiatives through all stages from conception to completion.
• Capability to spot operational shortcomings and build scalable processes, systems, and models supporting sustained growth.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence teams across Product, Engineering, Operations, and executive management.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools is preferred, including SQL and platforms like Looker, Sigma, or Hex.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary range from £131,000 to £175,000 per year.
