About the Role
Join our dynamic Auckland team as an Intermediate Auditor with Baker Tilly Staples Rodway. This permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) provides an excellent platform to advance your auditing career within a supportive environment. You will engage with a diverse client base, applying your audit expertise and contributing to high-quality financial evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform audit fieldwork and handle designated audit segments efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain audit workpapers, assisting with the compilation of financial statements.
- Assess audit risks meticulously and collect robust audit evidence.
- Communicate effectively with clients and collaborate closely with your audit team.
- Manage tight deadlines while upholding the quality of work delivered.
- Utilize audit software tools such as CaseWare and Microsoft Excel proficiently.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- At least one year of audit experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) or public practice environment.
- Currently progressing through CA or CPA certification studies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proven ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with audit assignments and related processes.
- Competence in using audit systems, with CaseWare experience considered advantageous.
- Demonstrated professionalism and a proactive, positive attitude.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and keen attention to detail.
