Role Overview
This full-time position at IKEA in Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia, involves leading an interior design team to ensure the attractive and locally tailored presentation of IKEA's product assortment. The role requires passion for living and furnishing spaces, strong organizational skills, and leadership capabilities to develop the team and manage resources effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop your team to create inspiring and functional furnishing solutions that align with IKEA's visual identity and concept standards across all store areas.
- Analyze local market living habits and competitor activities to continuously adapt assortments and presentations.
- Plan and control budgets, resources, timelines, and promotional activities effectively.
- Maintain a dynamic and appealing shopping environment that converts visitors into repeat customers through innovative presentations and seasonal updates.
- Embark on a culture of mutual respect, open dialogue, and constructive feedback while embodying IKEA's values to your team.
Candidate Profile
- Degree or vocational training with a focus on interior architecture, combined with relevant work experience.
- Desire and aptitude to lead and mentor a team after initial professional experience.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, adept at collaborating with internal colleagues and external partners.
- Proficiency in common graphic programs such as Revit and MS Office tools.
- Organized, self-driven, customer- and solution-oriented mindset.
- Motivated team player with the courage to make decisions and a commitment to personal and professional growth.
- Passion for home living and furnishing with an understanding of business and economic criteria.

- Permanent, full-time role averaging 37.5 working hours weekly, distributed over five days between Monday and Saturday across early, middle, and late shifts.
