Role Overview

The Interface Manager, situated on-site in the Riyadh Region, is responsible for managing the coordination and interaction among internal departments, external stakeholders, and project collaborators. This includes identifying, documenting, and resolving interface-related challenges to synchronize design, engineering, construction, and commissioning efforts. The role demands close cooperation with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives, maintaining transparent communication and structured coordination workflows.

Key Duties

  • Lead interface coordination meetings to ensure alignment across all project disciplines.
  • Maintain and update detailed interface registers documenting ongoing issues and integration points.
  • Track and assess risks and dependencies related to project interfaces.
  • Prepare technical documentation and progress reports reflecting interface status and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, industry standards, and safety requirements throughout project phases.
  • Foster collaborative teamwork among diverse project stakeholders to streamline operations.

Qualification and Experience

  • Demonstrated expertise in managing interfaces on large infrastructure, industrial, or construction projects.
  • Strong skills in project management, handling stakeholder coordination, risk management, and change control.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical domains within complex projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and meeting facilitation.
  • Proficiency in maintaining technical records and reporting, using appropriate digital tools and software platforms.
  • A solid grasp of international construction standards, contracts, and compliance frameworks related to quality and safety.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline; advanced project management certifications like PMP are advantageous.
  • Prior experience within Saudi Arabia or the Gulf region, including familiarity with local statutory and industry practices, is preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary on-site work environment in Riyadh.
