About the Role
Join Amazon's Retail team as an Instock Support Associate playing a crucial role in vendor management and category buying. This position involves establishing robust relationships with vendors of various sizes, managing product selection, and enhancing the overall vendor engagement experience. Designed as a foundation for a promising career within Amazon, this role seeks dynamic individuals driven to optimize business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance to vendors in navigating Amazon's tools and systems, including purchase order management, selection expansion, and shipment coordination.
- Deliver on-site training for new vendors to ease their onboarding and operational processes.
- Assist vendors in catalog content procurement and data accuracy while maintaining comprehensive records of activities.
- Empower vendors towards self-sufficiency on Amazon's platform.
- Take ownership of process enhancement initiatives and engage actively in stakeholder communication and meetings.
About the Team
The Instock Team is dedicated to supporting vendors to ensure a seamless experience with Amazon's systems, enhancing their operational capabilities for optimal business execution.
Qualifications
- Proven problem-solving skills with consistent delivery of results.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, VLOOKUP, VBA, and data linking.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Ability to work independently with proactive project and task management, meeting deadlines effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in business analytics or operational roles requiring keen analytical, quantitative, and organizational competencies.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating smooth stakeholder interactions.
- Familiarity with catalog and procurement processes such as placing purchase orders and managing lead times.
