Job description
Role Overview
Join Hitachi Energy to contribute to the construction of HVDC converter stations facilitating the Dutch energy transition. As a Site Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and high-quality installation of mechanical and electrical systems onsite, collaborating closely with civil construction managers, site teams, subcontractors, and engineering partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise mechanical and electrical installation activities at the site.
- Plan daily tasks ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
- Inspect installation quality and swiftly address any non-conformities.
- Uphold stringent safety and environmental standards throughout the site operations.
- Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Test Records (ITRs), reports, and daily documentation.
- Coordinate red-marked drawing reviews with subcontractors and engineering teams.
- Proactively resolve issues by collaborating closely with essential stakeholders.
- Maintain transparent and precise communication with project managers, engineers, and partners.
Candidate Profile
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an analogous discipline.
- Experience in supervising the installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiar with installation procedures, technical schematics, and applicable codes.
- Commitment to practicing safe work habits and adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Effective problem-solving aptitude and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and engage in on-site work as required.
