Role Overview

Join Hitachi Energy to contribute to the construction of HVDC converter stations facilitating the Dutch energy transition. As a Site Mechanical & Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the safe and high-quality installation of mechanical and electrical systems onsite, collaborating closely with civil construction managers, site teams, subcontractors, and engineering partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical and electrical installation activities at the site.
• Plan daily tasks ensuring alignment with overall project timelines.
• Inspect installation quality and swiftly address any non-conformities.
• Uphold stringent safety and environmental standards throughout the site operations.
• Prepare and review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Inspection Test Records (ITRs), reports, and daily documentation.
• Coordinate red-marked drawing reviews with subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Proactively resolve issues by collaborating closely with essential stakeholders.
• Maintain transparent and precise communication with project managers, engineers, and partners.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or an analogous discipline.
• Experience in supervising the installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiar with installation procedures, technical schematics, and applicable codes.
• Commitment to practicing safe work habits and adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Effective problem-solving aptitude and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and engage in on-site work as required.
