Identity and Access Management Engineer

About the Team

This role is integral to the InfoSec | Access Governance team, which supports all company departments by developing and advancing the access governance framework.

Role Overview

The engineer will be focused on designing and developing fundamental access governance solutions for a globally operating internet company. Responsibilities include incorporating cutting-edge technology such as large language models, AI agents, privacy-enhancing computation, and trusted computing into governance methodologies. This role aims to evolve access governance practices from primarily policy-based compliance to embedding strong integrated capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor privilege governance metrics, perform systematic indicator tracking and attribution analysis, and assess risk levels across governance dimensions.
• Build and maintain the company's privilege governance framework, identify privilege risks, and lead implementation of mitigation strategies to enhance overall privilege management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Develop and update company policies and regulations related to privilege management, streamline processes, and introduce innovative management approaches.
• Manage the internal privilege management platform's upkeep, align operation plans with business and platform goals, oversee day-to-day platform operations, and proactively address business challenges.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Management, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least three years of relevant experience, preferably in security governance, access or privilege management, consulting, or security platforms.
• Strong communication skills coupled with logical reasoning and analytical abilities.
• Steady demeanor, eagerness to learn, team player, self-motivated, outcome-focused, enthusiastic about challenging tasks, and capable of balancing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in internet technology companies, especially in roles involving privilege governance or identity and access management, either individually or in leadership.
• Competency in utilizing large-scale models or data analytics proficiencies.
