About the Role
We are a growing company focused on building a professional, inclusive, and employee-centered workplace. Our HR function is central to supporting employees and making sure they have the guidance, tools, and assistance needed to perform well. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-conscious Human Resources Assistant to strengthen our team and help keep the HR department running smoothly.
In this position, you will provide broad administrative and operational support across key HR areas such as hiring, onboarding, employee relations, record keeping, compliance, and internal communication. This role suits someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent organizational ability, and wants to contribute to employee success while protecting the accuracy and confidentiality of HR information.
You will be an important part of the HR team, helping manage daily HR activities and ensuring processes are completed efficiently and in line with company policies and employment regulations.
Recruitment and Hiring Support
- Help manage the hiring process by sharing job openings, reviewing incoming applications, and arranging interviews.
- Coordinate interview schedules and keep candidates informed during each stage of recruitment.
- Draft offer letters, employment agreements, and onboarding paperwork.
- Keep recruitment files and applicant tracking records up to date.
Onboarding and HR Administration
- Organize onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Prepare personnel files and verify that all required documents are completed and stored properly.
- Respond to employee questions and basic HR requests.
- Maintain accurate employee databases, records, and filing systems.
HR Operations and Compliance
- Ensure employee information stays accurate, current, and aligned with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in tracking HR processes and compliance standards.
- Support the creation of HR reports, metrics, and documentation.
- Help administer company policies, employee handbooks, and workplace procedures.
Employee Engagement and Support
- Assist with engagement initiatives, learning programs, and company events.
- Support performance review processes and employee development activities.
- Coordinate internal HR communications and announcements.
- Build positive working relationships with employees across departments.
General Administrative Support
- Handle HR correspondence, calendars, and meeting coordination.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and HR-related documents.
- Organize and maintain confidential employee records.
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR Manager and leadership team when needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree.
- Strong ability to organize tasks and manage multiple priorities.
- Very good verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and maintain confidentiality.
- Strong focus on detail and accuracy.
