Role overview
We are hiring a Remote Computer User Support Specialist to assist users with technical issues across digital tools and platforms. This position suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, helping people resolve computer-related concerns, and working in a structured remote setting.
You will act as a first point of contact for support requests, walk users through solutions in a clear way, and help keep systems running smoothly for day-to-day business use.
Key responsibilities
- Handle support questions and requests through email, chat, and ticketing tools
- Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and system problems
- Explain solutions to users in a professional, easy-to-follow manner
- Support account creation, login access, and password resets
- Record support interactions, fixes, and system changes accurately
- Pass more complex technical issues to the appropriate senior team when needed
- Keep support guides and knowledge resources current
- Spot repeating issues and share patterns that may help improve processes
What we are looking for
- Working knowledge of computers and basic troubleshooting methods
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to simplify technical information for non-technical users
- Comfort with support platforms or ticketing systems; training can be provided
- Ability to juggle multiple requests and prioritize effectively
- Self-driven approach with the ability to work independently
- Prior IT support experience is helpful, but not mandatory
