About the Role
The Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS), a prominent humanitarian organization in Ghana and a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, is seeking a seasoned Human Resource Manager based at its headquarters in Accra. The role demands strategic leadership in managing the human resource function encompassing workforce planning, recruitment, performance oversight, staff development, employee relations, organizational growth, and adherence to Ghanaian labor laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage workforce planning and recruitment processes to align with organizational goals.
- Oversee performance management systems and facilitate continuous staff development.
- Maintain positive employee relations and promote organizational development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Ghana Labour Law and internal policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
- Professional HR certification such as CIPD, SHRM, CIHRM Ghana, or an equivalent credential is mandatory.
- Minimum of seven years of advancing experience in human resource management with exposure to senior leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of Ghana Labour Law, best HR practices, and organizational development strategies.
- Experience working within humanitarian, development, or nonprofit sectors will be advantageous.
