Key Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver cargo with agents at airport cargo terminals.
- Sort both incoming and outgoing packages, directing packages appropriately to X-ray screening machines and retrieving those requiring additional inspection.
- Assist in preparing clearance documentation and confirming cargo receipt if assigned.
- Scan import and export packages to ensure visibility of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Break down bags into UPS air bags for smaller boxes and documents.
- Load and unload packages from feeder trucks and containers efficiently.
- Operate forklifts to handle pallets and irregular shipments during sorting and breakdown processes.
- Oversee contractors aiding in loading and unloading tasks.
- Complete required training modules in aviation security, health and safety, and financial revenue recovery.
- Perform additional duties as assigned periodically.
Job Requirements
- Minimum education level of secondary school or equivalent.
- Holding a class 3 driver's license or forklift license is advantageous.
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of related work experience.
- Capable of lifting packages weighing up to 30 kilograms.
- Basic proficiency in reading and speaking English.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts; rest days may fall outside conventional weekends.
