Key Responsibilities

• Drive achievement of HSSEQ goals and targets through active leadership and participation.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, sustainably, on schedule, and within budget, producing high-quality outputs that maximize value for owners and stakeholders.
• Provide comprehensive HSSE guidance to ensure the Project HSSE Management System is developed and integrated into project execution plans.
• Closely oversee EPC contractors to guarantee adherence to HSSE objectives.
• Lead PMC HSSE teams, EPC contractors, and associated groups in HSSE matters.
• Promote and embed a strong project safety culture through leadership and engagement initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and resolve HSSE issues throughout the EPC phase.
• Coordinate HSSE-related activities with PMC construction engineers across disciplines during construction.
• Ensure EPC contractors implement and maintain all project HSSE procedures.
• Advise the PMC team on HSSE questions, collaborating to define and pursue relevant objectives.
• Witness HSSE audits carried out by EPC contractors and report non-conformities and observations to management.
• Verify qualifications of EPC contractor HSSE personnel.
• Oversee implementation of the Project HSSE Plan within the EPC contract.
• Participate in review of EPC contractors' Project Execution Plans to ensure HSSE compliance.
• Ensure Vendor and Sub-vendor HSSE systems are evaluated and conform to project standards.
• Establish and maintain proper HSSE records systems under EPC contractors.
• Support management investigations into HSSE concerns and communicate outcomes appropriately.
• Provide regular HSSE performance feedback and lessons learned to project stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor HSSE performance of EPC contractors and subcontractors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in safety, health, environmental sciences, technical, scientific, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Relevant experience within the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry sectors.
• Proven experience preparing Health, Safety, and Environmental Impact Assessments (HSEIA) and proficiency in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) development.
