HR & Talent Coordinator

About the Role

Omnicom Advertising is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR & Talent Coordinator to join its People team in Auckland. This position is ideal for HR professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in a dynamic environment, focusing on talent acquisition while gaining comprehensive exposure to the full employee lifecycle within a diverse group of creative, media, digital, and corporate agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage comprehensive recruitment processes including posting job ads, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to draft accurate job descriptions and recruitment advertisements.
• Maintain and update recruitment and HR information systems, with experience in JobAdder or Workday considered beneficial.
• Coordinate pre-employment verifications and onboarding activities for new staff members.
• Ensure all HR documentation and employee records are precise and current.
• Support broad HR initiatives and projects aimed at improving employee experience and operational efficiency.
• Enhance the employer brand by delivering excellent candidate experiences and representing the company professionally during recruitment.

Candidate Profile

• Approximately 2–3 years’ experience in HR administration, coordination, recruitment administration, or talent acquisition support.
• Background in performing recruitment tasks in agency or in-house settings.
• Exceptional organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in managing sensitive information.
• A collaborative team-player mentality with high emotional intelligence and passion for employee engagement.
• Mental curiosity and drive to expand HR knowledge and career growth.
