Role Overview and Impact
As an HR Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing the daily functions of our global People team. Your responsibilities include overseeing the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding through internal transitions to offboarding, ensuring a consistent and smooth experience for every staff member from day one.
Maintaining accurate and reliable data across our people systems and serving as a reliable point of contact for employee inquiries, you will foster a supportive and effective workplace culture. Your diligence enables regional teams to prioritize strategic activities, confident that administrative operations are handled precisely and thoroughly.
Team Environment
Joining a cooperative People Experience team dedicated to open dialogue and shared objectives, you will engage in managing essential global HR operations. The team works alongside talent acquisition, payroll, and people partners to deliver outstanding internal experiences. Collaboration takes place virtually and in person to address operational challenges and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage frontline delivery of global processes covering the full employee lifecycle.
- Identify inefficiencies or frictions in systems, advancing automation and AI implementations to reduce manual tasks.
- Lead continuous efforts to optimize systems such as Workday, Jira Service Management, and related workflows.
- Enhance internal knowledge bases and documentation to offer precise advice and assistance.
Working Model
The position supports a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with collaborative workdays at our Melbourne or Sydney office hubs. Regular in-office days, known as boost days, provide opportunities for teamwork and connection while remote work is encouraged otherwise.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in human resources or people operations, preferably within a global technology company.
- Familiarity with Jira Service Management and Workday or similar software, with the ability to implement system and process enhancements.
- Proven ability to improve manual processes, incorporating AI-driven efficiencies into workflows.
- Exceptional attention to detail ensuring impeccable data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills to support employees empathically and professionally.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively while safeguarding confidentiality and discretion.
- A collaborative approach fostering team-oriented achievements and support.
