About the Role

Iceland Foods is seeking a Home Delivery Driver to join their team in Mid Yell, Scotland. This position involves delivering groceries while being the friendly face of the company to customers. The role offers an hourly wage of £13.71 and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure correct and safe loading of the delivery van, including heavy lifting and manual handling.
• Adhere strictly to safe driving practices at all times.
• Perform routine checks on the delivery van before setting out.
• Deliver food items to customers ensuring they arrive in excellent condition.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging positively with customers.
• Assist with store duties when needed.
• Work autonomously and manage time efficiently during shifts.
• Be flexible to work various shifts that may fall between 6am and 11pm.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a full driving license held for a minimum of three years with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Maintain a positive, friendly attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Be punctual and capable of meeting deadlines consistently.
• Have a solid understanding and awareness of road safety protocols.
