Head of Logistics

About the Role

GPC Medical Ltd. invites seasoned logistics professionals to take charge of overseeing and streamlining both domestic and international logistics processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of export-import logistics, freight management, customs procedures, and supply chain coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complete logistics operations for domestic and international shipments.
• Handle export and import documentation along with customs clearance activities.
• Work closely with freight forwarders, shipping companies, transporters, and customs agents to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure shipments are dispatched and delivered punctually.
• Negotiate freight costs and manage relationships with logistics service providers.
• Track logistics expenses and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies such as DGFT, Customs, GST, and relevant laws.
• Lead and develop the logistics team and foster collaboration across Sales, Production, Purchase, Finance, and Regulatory departments.

Candidate Profile

• 8 to 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
• Expertise in export-import procedures and handling international shipments.
• Practical knowledge of customs documentation and freight management operations.
• Strong leadership qualities, negotiation capabilities, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel use.
• Experience in industries such as Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Engineering, or Manufacturing is advantageous.
