Overview
SFO Technologies, a leading company under the NeST Group conglomerate, specializes in providing integrated solutions in design, engineering, software development, and Electronic Manufacturing Services across sectors such as Healthcare, Telecom, Industrial, Energy, and Transportation. We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to end-to-end product hardware development, combining complex analog and digital circuit design expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design complete hardware systems featuring analog and digital circuits utilizing 16/32/64-bit microcontrollers, processors, and FPGA technologies.
- Work closely with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware teams to develop and validate hardware solutions successfully.
- Execute design tasks involving digital communication protocols and high-speed circuits.
- Use simulation and analytical tools to predict and analyze design performance.
- Lead technical discussions with suppliers and manufacturing on hardware prototype development.
- Coordinate with project managers to align hardware development with project milestones, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
- Participate in technical reviews with experts and stakeholders to ensure design integrity.
Required Expertise and Skills
- Proficiency in PCB design software such as Allegro and Mentor Graphics.
- Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis using MATLAB/Simulink, SPICE, and PSIM.
- Hands-on skills in embedded circuit validation and debugging.
- Competence in high-speed circuit design methodologies.
- Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliant designs and signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis.
- Experience working within quality management systems and maintaining thorough documentation.
- Familiarity with Design for Excellence (DFT, DFM, DFA) principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Embedded programming experience in C and understanding of various IDEs and development tools.
Educational Qualification
Graduation or Postgraduation in Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Communication Engineering or equivalent fields is required.
