They provide comprehensive HR services including advisory on policies, compensation, and workforce planning; implementation services like recruitment and training; as well as outsourcing solutions such as payroll management and interim HR leadership.
Role Summary
The Guidewire Developer will be responsible for designing and building software solutions on the Guidewire Claims platform, including Claim Center and digital applications. This involves coding, testing, debugging, and supporting production systems while ensuring compliance with coding standards and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create software components for the Claims Guidewire platform, including technical design, coding, unit testing with G-Unit, debugging, and maintenance within defined timelines.
- Maintain code quality and conformity to Guidewire cloud assurance standards; collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
- Perform unit and integration testing of software modules to ensure functional reliability and provide testing support during different phases.
- Offer timely technical support for production issues reported by Guidewire application users; conduct root cause analysis and document solutions.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders, product managers, and designers to understand business requirements and deliver aligned software solutions.
- Adhere to organizational Customer Conduct Framework in delivering consistent quality customer outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- More than 4 years of hands-on development experience with Guidewire cloud platform and related applications; certification preferred.
- Proficient in Guidewire technologies such as Gosu scripting, Edge APIs, UI development, and data modeling.
- Experience working with databases like Oracle or SQL Server, with strong SQL skills.
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) environments and associated tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Experience working with agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and solve complex technical issues effectively.
- Prior knowledge of the insurance domain, especially Property & Casualty insurance, is advantageous.
