Position Overview

Oaks Gold Coast Hotel seeks a part-time Guest Service Agent devoted to delivering exceptional customer service. From warmly welcoming guests to smooth check-ins and check-outs, your role is pivotal in creating memorable stays. You will guide guests by providing useful local insights and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and friendly energy.

Key Duties

• Offer a welcoming and efficient reception experience, ensuring guests are promptly checked in and their immediate needs addressed.
• Maintain professional and clear communication through in-person interaction, phone calls, and emails to provide excellent service.
• Manage guest reservations, modifications, and requests accurately using property management software to uphold smooth operations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for guests during their stay, promptly handling inquiries, resolving issues, and giving tailored recommendations to enhance their visit.

Work Schedule

• Rotating shifts across all days of the week (Monday to Sunday).
• Shift times vary between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Hourly Compensation (excludes superannuation)

• Monday to Friday: $27.97 per hour
• Saturday: $34.96 per hour
• Sunday: $41.96 per hour

Candidate Qualifications

• Proven experience providing excellent service in hotels, hospitality, or customer-facing roles.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to convey information clearly across various platforms.
• Consistently high standards of service with a proactive and positive approach to guest needs.
• Genuine passion for creating outstanding guest experiences and quick problem-solving skills.
• Professional appearance aligned with organizational standards.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
