Group Treasurer - Global FinTech

Role Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Group Treasurer to join a thriving global FinTech company based in Dublin, Ireland. In this hybrid position, you will lead treasury operations across international entities, managing liquidity, cash flows, banking relationships, and multi-currency financial activities while supervising a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily treasury operations for multiple international subsidiaries.
• Lead and manage a finance team of 4 to 6 members.
• Handle cash positioning and liquidity management, including both short- and long-term cash flow forecasting.
• Supervise payments domestically and across borders, manage banking partnerships, and facilitate multi-currency transactions.
• Coordinate intercompany funding arrangements, mitigate foreign exchange risks, and maintain treasury control systems.
• Assist with capital adequacy assessment, regulatory compliance, and treasury-related financial reporting.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Legal, and Operations to streamline treasury tasks.
• Initiate and support improvements in treasury workflows and automation efforts.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5 to 7+ years of treasury experience within global organizations handling significant transaction volumes.
• Background in FinTech, Financial Services, Banking, or Brokerage preferred.
• Expertise in cash management, liquidity planning, treasury operations, and foreign exchange management.
• Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
• Experience engaging with international banks and operating in multi-currency environments.
• Knowledge of treasury controls, capital adequacy standards, and regulatory frameworks is advantageous.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, banking platforms, and advanced Excel functions.
• Strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability to a dynamic international setting.
