Overview
We are seeking a Group Chief Operating Officer to join a leading independent hospitality company. This executive-level role will be based in Oxfordshire with a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO and will be instrumental in guiding operational strategy across the UK, while also contributing to the group's international expansion efforts. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies to drive commercial performance and EBITDA growth across a diverse multi-site operation
- Lead operational excellence initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business
- Manage multiple head office support functions and a growing leadership team spanning various locations
- Collaborate closely with the Board to advance strategic projects, improve processes, and spearhead digital transformation efforts
Requirements
- Demonstrated executive leadership experience within hospitality, catering, or other complex multi-location service businesses
- Proven ability to enhance operational effectiveness, stimulate commercial growth, and lead business transformation
- Experience in managing large, geographically distributed teams and overseeing head office support services
- Strong financial insight combined with strategic planning skills and a leadership approach that fosters collaboration at the Board level
- Familiarity with supporting business growth and international expansion is highly preferred
