Role Overview
This position entails the creation and delivery of superior, on-brand creative content throughout digital, eCommerce, social, retail, and print mediums. The role is essential in animating the Elmhurst brand across diverse consumer interaction points.
The candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, eCommerce, innovation, sales, and agency teams to develop creative assets that enhance awareness, engagement, conversion, loyalty, and maintain brand uniformity according to each communication channel's goals.
Excelling in a fast-paced, shifting environment that values accountability requires a combination of creative ideation, executional rigor, and independent management.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-grade creative materials across paid media (digital, print, still and motion), organic social platforms, eCommerce sites (Amazon, Thrive, retailer platforms, direct-to-consumer, social commerce), food service and away-from-home channels, international clients, email/CRM communications, company website, retail and shopper marketing, print, and event collateral.
- Translate brand strategies into innovative, channel-tailored creative concepts and deliverables.
- Adapt, version, and optimize creative content efficiently for various formats, dimensions, and distribution channels.
- Generate and develop agile content ideas to facilitate rapid and effective production (e.g., social campaigns, product narratives, extensions).
- Direct creative efforts for focused photo and video shoots including product, social, lifestyle, and stop-motion visuals, aligning shot concepts with brand priorities.
- Manage relationships with photographers, stylists, and other content creators, overseeing execution to guarantee quality and efficiency.
- Oversee asset production from conception to final output ensuring compliance with technical standards and best practices.
- Maintain systematic file organization, naming, version control, and develop reusable templates to support scalable asset production.
- Ensure all creative complies with licensing, talent, and content usage policies to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
- Uphold Elmhurst's brand standards consistently while fostering channel-specific innovation and refinement.
- Work cross-functionally to interpret business needs into effective creative solutions, managing timelines and prioritizing projects autonomously.
Required Qualifications and Capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline.
- Between 5 and 8+ years of professional graphic design experience, with mandatory background in consumer packaged goods (CPG), either agency or in-house.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing digital, social, print, video, eCommerce, and retail marketing creative.
- Proficient use of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) with preferred experience in motion graphics tools like After Effects.
- Demonstrated ability to work with and adapt brand guidelines across multiple platforms and collaborate effectively with both agencies and internal teams.
- A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter capable of independently prioritizing workload in a remote setting.
- Enthusiasm for exploring and integrating emerging AI creative technologies as they develop.
