This role offers the opportunity to enhance existing product lines and innovate new designs, managing projects from initial prototype through to manufacturing production.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering fundamentals and mechanical design principles to develop robust product components and assemblies.
- Engage in the full product development lifecycle including conceptual design, prototyping, testing, validation, and final approval.
- Use advanced 3D CAD software, primarily Autodesk Inventor, to produce detailed parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and utilize MoldFlow simulations to optimize designs.
- Gain practical experience in manufacturing processes such as injection molding, steel pressing, and polymer extrusion to ensure designs are production feasible.
- Manufacture rapid prototypes using 3D printing techniques to support iterative design development.
- Collaborate across departments to develop comprehensive manufacturing and installation documentation.
- Create visualizations and renderings to support marketing materials and product catalogs.
- Continuously seek to improve design quality and efficiency, leveraging hands-on project involvement to advance Design for Manufacture (DFM) expertise.
Candidate Profile
- Applicants must have completed a degree in Product Design or Industrial Design.
- Possess a strong work ethic, genuine enthusiasm for engineering and design, and a proactive willingness to learn new skills.
- Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset and a commitment to contributing positively to team objectives and product development.
- Ready to take initiative and deliver measurable outcomes through a hands-on approach.
Additional Information
