Role Overview

You will play a key role in supporting our daily operations by undertaking various tasks including cleaning, assisting with food preparation, meal serving, and dishwashing duties.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas through housekeeping tasks.
• Support food-related activities such as preparing meals, arranging and cleaning up chairs and tables, serving food to residents, delivering trays, and ensuring kitchen hygiene by dishwashing.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, promptly report any injuries or hazards to supervisors, and comply with other reasonable management requests.

Candidate Profile

• Holding a valid Food Handler Certificate or equivalent provincial certification is mandatory.
• Experience in housekeeping and food service environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with healthcare or long-term care settings is preferred.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, with ability to follow instructions accurately.
