Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals passionate about delivering excellent hospitality experiences to join our team. As a General Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring commercial properties are meticulously cleaned while adhering to the company's values and maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Uphold excellent cleaning standards consistently across assigned commercial sites.
• Empty trash containers regularly and responsibly.
• Vacuum carpets to maintain cleanliness.
• Perform dust mopping and sweeping of hard surface floors.
• Wet mop hard floors to achieve cleanliness standards.
• Clean various units including restrooms, kitchens, and lobbies thoroughly.
• Remove spots and smudges from entry doors to maintain presentability.
• Dust horizontal surfaces when accessible without disturbance.
• Perform high-level dusting such as windowsills, blinds, and elevated areas.
• Conduct specialized surgical cleaning duties within medical facility settings.
• Report maintenance issues or damages related to carpets, furnishings, linens, and overall property condition following company protocol.
• Communicate inventory levels and supply needs to supervisors promptly.
• Report any lost and found items discovered during cleaning processes.
• Assist in keeping storage areas orderly and clean.
• Maintain a safe work environment consistently at all assigned locations.
• Use cleaning supplies and equipment effectively to optimize resource use.
• Manage time efficiently to meet cleaning schedules and quality benchmarks.

Experience and Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong passion and commitment towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene.
• Willingness to work irregular hours including some weekends.
• Ability to adapt, learn continuously, and adjust behaviors as required.
• Physical capability to handle tasks involving standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs), bending, reaching, and repetitive motions. Reasonable accommodations available for disabilities.
• Minimal travel obligations.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage of $16 per hour.

Work Schedule
