GCP SRE DevOps Engineer with Terraform Expertise

Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals to fill the role of GCP Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and DevOps Engineer with strong skills in Terraform. The position involves designing, maintaining, and optimizing cloud infrastructures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while automating deployments and ensuring robust system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and sustain cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform.
• Utilize Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate resource provisioning and management.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable automated testing and deployments.
• Create and maintain Python scripts for automation, orchestration, and monitoring tasks.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system reliability, security, and performance within GCP environments.
• Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to facilitate smooth integration and continuous delivery.
• Apply best practices in cloud deployment, security measures, and cost optimization strategies.
• Document infrastructure configurations, operational processes, and procedures comprehensively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related area; equivalent professional experience is also acceptable.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps positions with specialization in GCP, Terraform, and Python programming.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or comparable technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security protocols, networking concepts, and systems monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities.

Additional Information

The role is based onsite in Kolkata, India. Candidates with 3 to 10 years of relevant experience are preferred. Any graduate meeting the qualifications can apply.
