Overview

We are seeking a proficient GCP DevOps Engineer based in Bangalore to build, manage, and optimize secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure utilizing GCP technologies.
- Develop and sustain automated CI/CD workflows with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform for automated provisioning.
- Manage container-based deployments leveraging Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Configure and maintain effective monitoring and alerting platforms including Cloud Monitoring, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Uphold cloud security standards, compliance policies, and promote best practices.
- Diagnose and resolve production environment challenges; optimize overall system performance.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to enhance deployment processes.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in DevOps or Cloud engineering roles.
- Strong practical expertise with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, Cloud Functions, and Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Experienced in container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Hands-on with various CI/CD pipeline tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build.
- Scripting aptitude in Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Fundamental knowledge in Linux administration and networking concepts.
- Competency in monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and GCP Operations Suite.
Preferred Attributes
- GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification holder.
- Experience integrating security and DevSecOps processes.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to configuration management tools like Ansible.
