Position Overview

As a Gardener reporting to the Team Manager, you will collaborate with team members to maintain garden areas throughout multiple locations in Levin. Your responsibilities include planting, pruning, vegetation management, maintaining flower beds, hanging baskets, rose gardens, borders, and shrubs. Execution of duties to superior standards, following an organized timetable while safeguarding public and team safety, is essential.

Candidate Profile

While experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred, a strong work ethic and enthusiasm for outdoor tasks are equally valuable. Essential qualifications and traits include:

• Possession of a current full driver's license, with the ability to operate manual vehicles
• Readiness to take responsibility for assigned tasks and contribute naturally to team support
• Preferably hold Level 3 National Certificate in Horticulture and a valid GrowSafe certificate
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Energetic, self-motivated with a determined approach to completing work
