Full Time Nanny

Job Overview

Jovie is seeking enthusiastic full-time nannies to join our team in Fall City, WA. If you have experience caring for children ranging from toddlers to early elementary age and enjoy providing a fun, engaging environment, we invite you to apply. Positions offer between 20 to 40+ hours per week, mainly Monday through Friday during conventional working hours.

Compensation

• Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $25
• Overtime compensation between $30 and $37.50 per hour

Candidate Profile

• Truly enjoys working with children, engaging in creative, child-centered activities such as playing, reading, and crafting
• Values clear communication with both parents and colleagues
• Available for at least two days weekly, working shifts of 6 to 9 hours within schedule of 7 am to 7 pm
• Possesses dependable transportation and valid driver’s license for commute
• Minimum one year of practical daily childcare experience
• Ability to provide three references: two related to child care (paid or volunteer) and one character reference
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Emphasizes reliability so families can count on consistent care

Role Expectations

• Providing care in children's homes without responsibility for transporting them
• Limited household tasks restricted to tidying up after child activities and meal times
• Caring primarily for children within your experience age group, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary; with particular demand for children under 2 years old
• Deliver age-appropriate, safe, hands-on activities to promote children's development and wellness

Working Conditions

• Active, child-focused environment including cleanup of activity materials
• Daily outdoor playtime weather permitting, emphasizing physical activity

Physical Requirements

• Role involves frequent lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing
• Must safely handle lifting up to 35 pounds
• Ability to move to and from floor level multiple times through the day
• Quick reaction capability for various situations, including emergencies, maintaining composure and safety
