Role Overview
This Full Cycle Recruiter position involves managing comprehensive recruitment activities across technical and non-technical roles to attract outstanding talent and provide an exceptional candidate journey. Reporting to the Head of Talent, this role suits an individual contributor who thrives on strategic recruiting and values partnership with hiring teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead recruiting efforts from initiation to offer acceptance under guidance from the Head of Talent.
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for both technical and non-technical positions.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to implement hiring strategies and interview plans.
- Utilize creative sourcing methods and modern tools to engage passive candidates.
- Build and maintain robust candidate pipelines for current and future openings.
- Conduct recruiter screening calls, assessing candidate fit for roles, values, and team culture.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience through timely communication, organization, and follow-up.
- Maintain momentum in the recruitment process, advancing candidates efficiently.
- Keep hiring managers updated with regular status reports and market insights.
- Accurately document candidate information and interview feedback in Greenhouse ATS.
- Work closely with Recruiting Operations for smooth interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Represent TurbineOne with professionalism in all candidate engagements.
- Contribute ideas to enhance recruitment procedures and candidate satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years experience in full-cycle recruiting.
- Strong team orientation with humility and a mission-first approach.
- Alignment with TurbineOne’s mission and recognition of the critical nature of hiring in supporting frontline operators.
- Experience recruiting in a startup or fast-growing environment; technology startup experience is highly preferred.
- Proven success recruiting both technical and non-technical professionals, specifically software engineers.
- Strong sourcing and candidate engagement abilities, especially for passive talent.
- Experience handling multiple searches simultaneously with high organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Aptitude for working effectively in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- Balance of urgency and sound judgment in recruitment decisions.
- Commitment to delivering a superior candidate experience.
- Comfort working closely under Head of Talent’s direction, and building trusted relationships with hiring managers.
- Motivation to grow as an individual contributor rather than pursuing immediate management roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Recruiting experience in Defense Technology sectors.
- Familiarity with hiring candidates holding active U.S. security clearances.
- Knowledge of government contracting or national security organizations.
- Experience with recruiting platforms like Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Gem.
