Role Summary

This contract opportunity is for a Frontend Web Developer focused on HTML and CSS, supporting a client project from any location. The work centers on creating and maintaining polished, responsive user interfaces that align with design requirements and function consistently across browsers and devices.

Compensation

The payout for this role is $30 to $80 per hour.

What You'll Do

• Build and update front-end UI components using HTML, CSS, and closely related technologies.
• Make sure layouts adapt smoothly across screen sizes and remain compatible with major browsers.
• Work with design teams to turn mockups into accurate, production-ready interface elements.
• Improve front-end speed, usability, and accessibility wherever possible.
• Take part in code reviews and help maintain strong development standards.

Skills and Experience

• Strong hands-on knowledge of HTML and CSS, including semantic markup practices.
• Practical experience with responsive design and mobile-first implementation.
• Exposure to CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS, or utility/framework tools like Bootstrap or Tailwind.
• Comfort using browser developer tools and troubleshooting front-end issues.
• Ability to convert visual designs from tools such as Figma or Sketch into working interfaces.
