Their work includes digitalizing migrant return and reintegration services in Sweden, developing referral platforms for migrants from Afghanistan, Ethiopia, and Eritrea, building STEM talent pipelines in Nigeria for opportunities in Germany and Ireland, and creating engaging educational outreach programs in Morocco.
Role Overview
This roster of freelance positions supports Seefar's operations team to ensure the Foundation and its projects are executed efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with regulations. These remote contract roles report directly to relevant Operations or Programmes Team members, carry no travel requirements, and involve no supervisory duties.
Available Positions
- Assistant – Audit: Support audit leads and project managers in audit preparations.
- Assistant – Finance: Ensure proper financial management at project and entity levels.
- Associate – Audit: Lead internal or external audit processes.
- Specialist – Operations Systems: Design templates, systems, and automations tailored to complex operational needs.
- Specialist – Donor Compliance: Provide expert advice on managing grants from the EU, Member States, and the UK.
- Specialist – Entity Governance: Offer specialized guidance on running nonprofit entities (Belgium, Sweden) and for-profit entities (Ireland, Hong Kong).
Remuneration
Applicants are invited to propose hourly and daily rates. Indicative daily rates inclusive of VAT and all taxes are as follows (rates are global and location-independent):
- Assistants: €70–€120 per day, minimum 2 years’ relevant experience
- Associates: €120–€280 per day, minimum 5 years’ relevant experience
- Specialists: €280–€500 per day, minimum 8 years’ relevant experience
Candidate Requirements
- Must consent to reference checks and basic vetting procedures.
- Cannot be engaged in any full-time employment during engagement.
- Responsible for maintaining their own independent contractor status.
