The company operates primarily in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and East Asia and seeks a motivated individual to enhance regional trade, procurement, and overall business operations.

Role Overview

This position entails managing cross-border trade and supplier coordination with operational autonomy across Singapore, Johor (Malaysia), and Indonesia. It blends commercial coordination, international trade management, and on-the-ground operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee supplier coordination, procurement, shipping logistics, and related international trade documentation.
  • Maintain clear communication with manufacturers, logisticians, clients, and regional teams.
  • Facilitate import-export processes, nurture supplier relationships, and follow up on commercial matters.
  • Ensure precise maintenance of trade records and continuously optimize operational workflows.
  • Travel to meet customers, suppliers, and inspect project locations as required.
  • Handle collection or delivery of equipment, samples, documents, and materials when needed.
  • Proactively resolve operational issues independently and ensure their complete resolution.
  • Contribute flexibly beyond specific job responsibilities to support overall business objectives.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, International Business, or a related field.
  • Applicants can be fresh graduates or individuals with up to three years of relevant professional experience.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is necessary.
  • Must have legal eligibility to work in Singapore.
  • Willingness to undertake regular or extended assignments in Johor, Malaysia.
  • Comfort with regional travel within Southeast Asia.
  • Possess commercial awareness, adaptability, and sensitivity to working across diverse cultural environments.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, proactive initiative, and sound independent judgment.

Career Growth and Additional Information

The role is designed as a stepping stone to becoming a Regional Trade and Procurement Manager, offering the chance to lead supplier partnerships, regional procurement, cross-border trade, and broader commercial functions.

Housing or assignment allowances may be provided for prolonged stays in Johor. Travel and operational expenses related to business will be reimbursed separately.

Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from SGD 3,500 to SGD 4,500, determined by capability and experience.
