Job Location and Schedule

Position available at Greater Jasper Consolidated School District in Jasper, Indiana. Work shifts occur on weekdays with varying hours; open availability is preferred. Specific shift details will be provided during the interview.

Position Overview

This role involves preparing and serving diverse menu items while maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in workspaces. The Food Service Worker contributes to a positive environment by providing welcoming customer service that makes a meaningful difference daily.

Primary Duties

• Operate in any food preparation or serving area on the premises, aiding in setup and serving food from counters and steam tables.
• Prepare service stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils; manage stock replenishment in service areas.
• Ensure that equipment and work areas are cleaned and sanitized routinely.
• Attend all scheduled shifts punctually and consistently.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned, which may vary depending on client needs and business demands.

Qualifications

• Must be team-focused, adaptable, dependable, and contribute to maintaining a safe, healthy work environment.
• No prior work experience is required.

Compensation and Benefits
