Position Overview

The Food and Consumables Team Associate plays a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service by embodying Walmart's core values. The associate is responsible for maintaining organization in the food and consumables section, ensuring proper stock rotation, pricing accuracy, and adherence to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone product displays, including shelves, tables, and bunkers, ensuring all items are correctly placed.
• Regularly rotate stock and inspect products for expiration to maintain freshness and safety.
• Verify that all merchandise is properly labeled and accurately priced for customer clarity.
• Strictly comply with cold chain standards, including thermometer calibration, recording temperatures, proper food handling, and monitoring sell-by and expiration dates.
• Follow established procedures for ordering, clearance, price adjustments (markups and markdowns), and appropriate labeling.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
