Food & Beverage Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a Food and Beverage (F&B) Associate with experience in Bar operations to support the daily functions of our dining outlets. The position involves interacting with guests, processing orders, serving meals and drinks, and ensuring the environment is clean and welcoming to all patrons. A strong enthusiasm for the hospitality field, combined with excellent customer relations abilities and a positive outlook, is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and attend to guests upon arrival.
• Accurately record food and drink orders and deliver them efficiently.
• Provide timely and polite service of food and beverages.
• Properly arrange tables and maintain overall cleanliness in the dining area.
• Help with food preparation and presentation as required.
• Respond to guest questions and handle any complaints quickly and professionally.
• Manage payment transactions and use the cash register appropriately.
• Track inventory and replenish necessary supplies when needed.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols concerning food handling and serving.
• Coordinate smoothly with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver efficient service.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or its equivalent; further training in hospitality is advantageous.
• Prior proven work experience as an F&B Associate, Waiter/Waitress, or in a related role.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to operate effectively in a fast-paced work environment and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Exemplary customer service abilities coupled with a cordial disposition.
• Basic arithmetic skills to manage payment processes.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk for prolonged durations.
