Floor Manager at Max Mara in Munich

Position Overview

We are seeking a Floor Manager for the new Max Mara store located in Munich. This role is key to driving the commercial success within the designated department, involving the leadership and development of sales personnel while upholding the company's brand image and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Meeting personal and departmental sales targets.
• Organizing, directing, and managing assigned resources in collaboration with the Store Manager to achieve business goals.
• Supporting the sales team in managing customer objections and closing transactions when required.
• Ensuring department areas are maintained in accordance with company standards including tidiness and product care.
• Overseeing efficient product management within the department.
• Maintaining high standards of customer reception within the department aligned with company guidelines.
• Assessing and enhancing the expertise of team members within the department.
• Preparing backup personnel to ensure seamless role coverage.
• Collaborating with Sales and Visual Managers to inform and train staff on collections and products.
• Partnering with the management team—including Operations, Store, and Sales Managers—to optimize store performance.
• Ensuring department Sales Managers maintain image standards.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures, and behavioral codes.
• Complying with safety regulations and initiating corrective actions as needed.
• Promoting continuous learning through on-the-job training, teamwork, and digital initiatives to foster innovation and efficiency.
• Encouraging the adoption and development of digital tools related to process management and stakeholder engagement.
• Championing sustainable development practices connected to environmental care, operational processes, and social responsibility.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum three years’ experience as a Floor Manager or Assistant Store Manager, preferably in luxury or fashion retail.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Leadership through exemplary conduct.
• Strong customer focus with dedication to delivering excellent in-store service experiences.
• Goal-driven and motivated.
• Passion for fashion and sound knowledge of fashion brands.
• Competent with digital retail tools.
• Effective problem-solving abilities combined with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Flexible work schedule availability.
• Fluent in German and English; Russian language skills are an advantage.
