About the Role
The Fleet Executive Director at NANCO Group holds responsibility for shaping and executing the organization’s fleet strategy, ensuring superior operational performance, and optimizing the entire fleet lifecycle. This leader directs teams overseeing fleet operations, maintenance, procurement, and warehouse management, while driving data-driven improvements and digital advancements across all processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive fleet strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead all aspects of fleet operations, including maintenance, acquisition, and disposal of vehicles.
- Supervise procurement activities, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Manage spare parts and warehouse functions to ensure optimal inventory and service levels.
- champion initiatives in digital transformation to promote efficiency and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting processes, maximize operational performance, control costs, and enhance profitability of the fleet division.
- Ensure adherence to corporate governance, and maintain high standards in quality, safety, and health regulations.
- Build and nurture effective leadership teams, establish succession planning, and foster talent development.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a similar discipline is required.
- An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is highly desirable.
- Professional qualifications in project management, supply chain, or fleet management are preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, or vehicle leasing.
- At least 8 years of proven success at a senior management level within large-scale fleet operations.
- Extensive knowledge of procurement, supplier management, contract negotiations, and digital transformation projects.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential.
