Educational background

The ideal candidate should hold a B.Tech/B.E. or a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire and Safety. A diploma or advanced diploma in Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Technology, or Industrial Safety from a recognized institute such as NFSC, IFE, or NIFE is generally required.

Certifications

First Aid and CPR certification are required. Additional credentials such as NEBOSH or IOSH are preferred and considered a strong advantage.

Facility management, governance, and supervision

  • Maintain compliance with the National Building Code, Factory Acts, and local Fire Services Acts, including obtaining and renewing Fire NOCs.

  • Provide technical leadership to keep fire safety services compliant, effective, and continuously improved.
  • Track equipment condition, warranty, and AMC status, and keep relevant teams informed so compliance actions are completed on time.

  • Support customer RFI and RFP responses for Fire and GWS-related sections with the required evidence.
  • Carry out fire facility inspections for towers and cafeteria areas according to guidelines, identify gaps, and drive closure of audit observations.
  • Prepare documentation required for internal and external audit compliance at the location.
  • Track and maintain facility fire-related requirements such as training, incident management, work permits, emergency response, compliance, HIRA, and risk assessment.
  • Review fire objectives and targets set at the global level and monitor progress regularly.

Process improvement and awareness

  • Lead fire safety awareness campaigns on campus, including National Safety Week, World Environment Day, and Fire Service Week.
  • Share suggestions and initiatives with the site GWS team and central teams for SOP updates, fire manual revisions, and issue resolution.
  • Participate in and lead campus-level certification and awards initiatives related to fire, environment, and sustainability.
  • Drive emergency management programs across the campus.
