About The Role

This opportunity is for a Non-Investment Finance Expert working on a contract basis with flexible working hours from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and assess outputs such as Profit and Loss statements, mark-to-market reconciliations, vendor and accounts payable reconciliations, along with comprehensive three-statement and pro-forma financial models.
- Review AI-produced financial analyses to verify they meet professional standards of accuracy and quality.
- Analyze primary documentation including term sheets and trial balances, discerning critical information from irrelevant details.
- Prepare clear, professional narratives suitable for CFOs or partners that outline assumptions, highlight variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Apply sound professional judgment independently when encountering incomplete or unclear data, managing work asynchronously.
Candidate Requirements
- At least five years of practical experience in hands-on non-investment finance roles.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards and advanced skills in Excel-based financial modeling.
- Ability to exercise professional discretion in situations involving ambiguous or partial information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Credentials such as CPA, CA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalently recognized certifications.
- Familiarity with accounting guidelines ASC 805 and ASC 606.
Compensation and Terms
- Position is offered on an hourly contract basis with a rate of $85 per hour.
