About Montegallo and Role Overview

Montegallo is looking for a motivated Junior Financial Analyst to join its real estate investment team. This role offers a fantastic starting point for early-career finance professionals interested in gaining practical experience in analyzing commercial and residential real estate investments alongside seasoned investment experts.

Core Responsibilities

Support financial modeling and underwriting for potential real estate investment deals.
Evaluate property financials including cash flow, capitalization rates, internal rate of return, and overall investment returns.
Perform comprehensive market research and assist in due diligence processes.
Develop investment reports and prepare presentation materials.
Monitor portfolio performance and contribute to ongoing investment evaluations.
Collaborate closely with acquisitions and asset management teams to assist in strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Skills

Possess a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, or related disciplines.
Have 0 to 2 years of professional experience in fields such as finance, investments, real estate, banking, or accounting; internships are welcomed.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Show advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Exhibit excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
Display enthusiasm for learning and advancing within real estate investing.

Preferred Technical Experience

Proficiency or experience with Excel-based financial modeling.
Exposure to real estate underwriting and discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis.
Familiarity with ARGUS software is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of CoStar, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Yardi platforms is beneficial.
