Fashion Intern - Fall

Role overview

PURPLE is looking for enthusiastic interns to support its Fashion team in New York. This role is best suited to someone who is genuinely interested in fashion PR, enjoys a fast-paced agency setting, and is eager to learn by taking on varied day-to-day tasks.

What you'll do

• Handle sample movement, including tracking loans and arranging outgoing shipments.
• Scan and format media coverage on a daily basis.
• Assist with monthly reporting and weekly pitching activity across multiple brands.
• Keep contact directories and media databases up to date.
• Help with special events, press days, and other ad hoc assignments as needed.
• Support the agency’s daily operational needs.
• Complete and present an end-of-term internship project with guidance from the PURPLE team, helping you strengthen your portfolio and reflect on what you learned during the internship.

What we're looking for

Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, hardworking, organized, proactive, and creative. A willingness to learn is important, along with the ability to take initiative. Strong written communication and a basic grasp of public relations are also expected.

Internship terms

This is an unpaid internship. It is structured to satisfy academic credit requirements, and the company will complete any paperwork needed by a student to obtain credit from an accredited educational institution. The internship requires a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week, and the role is fully on-site with no remote work option.
