Facility Maintenance Technician - HVAC

Overview

This role requires a skilled technician specializing in HVAC systems maintenance and repair, encompassing installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of various refrigeration and air conditioning units such as package, split, and window AC units, along with refrigeration equipment like freezers and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and corrective repairs for petrol station equipment operational 24/7.
• Ensure compliance with food product regulations and safety standards.
• Diagnose and efficiently troubleshoot equipment faults and breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold high productivity and safety benchmarks.
• Handle the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
• Maintain integrity, loyalty, and demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, initiative, analytical problem-solving skills.
• Work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Conduct maintenance and fault finding on HVAC equipment and systems.
• Understand and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical and mechanical flow charts, plumbing schematics, and P&ID diagrams.
• Possess electrical power maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Interpret equipment manuals for maintenance and repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and perform risk assessments.
• Ability to work independently when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical College credential or equivalent in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning discipline.
• Minimum of five years practical experience in installation, commissioning, and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning units.
