Role overview
This position is suited to a professional who can architect and implement automated data-processing pipelines with a strong focus on reliability, validation, and maintainability.
What you'll do
- Build, enhance, and support automated workflows for data processing using appropriate tools and technologies.
- Work closely with teams across functions to understand business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Put in place data checks and quality controls to verify the accuracy and consistency of processed datasets.
- Investigate problems in automation scripts and resolve them quickly to reduce disruption.
- Follow established industry practices for data handling, governance, and security.
- Guide and support junior colleagues by sharing automation approaches, techniques, and best practices.
Skills and tools
Expected exposure includes ETL testing, Python-based automation, PySpark, Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
Notice period
The required notice period is immediate to 15 days.
Location and work mode
The role is based in Bangalore or Pune, and remote work is also acceptable. The working arrangement is hybrid.
